Galaxy MIf I am not wrong, my M51 charging cable is Type- C-C cable. Now I have to purchase a USB - TYPE C which fits into the need. Does Samsung M51 has such USB-TYPE C original cables ?

Galaxy MI am pasting the solution that worked for me to get this problem sorted out. I wanted to paste here, as I tried multiple solutions that are on the google community , but nothing worked. I tried both the below solutions and I am able to connect to android auto. Not sure, which solution really helped here.
Solution 1 : 1) On phone -- > Settings --> Apps --> There will be a 3 lines and a down arrow. Click that and enable "Show System Apps". 2) Now search for the "USB Settings" --> Select Storage --> Clear data.
Solution 2:
Started the Mobile Phone in Safe Mode (by pressing Power button and Volume down button). Once the phone entered into the safe mode, searched for "General Management" and reset 3 available settings -- 1) Reset network settings, Reset all settings and Reset accessibility settings.
After the above 2 steps, I connected the cable, and in a flash the Android auto got connected.
P.S : I used a original Samsung USB to C type cable
