I have connected my M34 5G phone with my car with a usb cable but Android auto was not starting, I have tested the same car and usb cable with other phones, there I could do the pairing. Restarted the phone but still Android auto was not starting or do the pairing. But I could do the Bluetooth pairing manually. Any pointers?

Thanks

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that kindly check the following conditions to use Android Auto.

Please check for any updates of related applications (Google) with Android Auto.
The initial connection setting can only be used when the car is parked, this is the concept of Google Android Auto for safety.
After the initial connection, you can use Android Auto while driving.
As Android Auto can be connected via USB cable as well and the connection method may differ by car and its manufacturer, it’s necessary to confirm the proper connection method for your car with a car manufacturer.
The USB cables approved by Samsung are compatible with Android Auto.
Additionally, we recommend using a shorter USB cable than 1m.

If the issue persists kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
