It happens with most of the samsung devices.For me it is a common issue faced several times.
According to my opinion it will be solved by restarting your device.

it is not resolving by restarting the device. i am facing the same issue from more than 8 months.

Even the latest update of the phone not able to serve any kind of help.

I think this is a simple delay which occers as the device gets older.Sometimes this issue still continues with my galaxy J7 and gets solved after restarting.And is not solved with my s-duos2 gt-s7582 and J6 devices and for me this issue dosent make a big difference as the call is placed after 3-4secs so not a major problem.
And there is a way which solves this problem completely by formatting your device which is not a good option according to me but it is effective this formatting trick was used on my friends j7 duo and it worked well.
Do tell what you think.

To resolve "device lagging" issue kindly follow the given below steps:

1) Reset the device: -Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.

Tap on Settings>Tap on General Management>Tap on Reset.
