Galaxy J
source from news
Surprisingly, AT&T and Samsung have decided that the Galaxy J3 (2016) should be updated to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Why is that surprising? Well, Samsung launched the mid-range smartphone back in January 2016, so in just a few months the device will celebrate two years since market release.
Well, starting this week, AT&T customers who own the Galaxy J3 (2016) can update their smartphones to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The carrier confirmed that it has started the roll-out on October 11, so give it a few days to show up on your smartphone.
Aside from the new features and improvements included in Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which you can read all about in our full review, the update adds the August security patch. Yes, that's a bit old and chances are there's not going to many other security updates in the future coming for the Galaxy J3 (2016).
Finally, the update addresses the BlueBorne security exploit and brings video calling and Wi-Fi calling into the mix. Keep in mind that this is a fairly sizable download, so make sure you have at least 1GB of free storage on your phone before attempting to update.

Thanks for being with Samsung and for sharing your feedback. Sir, Samsung offers you the best value on the product released. Updates are rolling out by time to time for the devices, However it totally depends on the availability and compatibility of the update with the devices. Nougat is already planned for the concern Samsung devices soon these are going to receive a nougat update.
