Are there two variants of Samsung j7 max, one that uses 1.69ghz octa cores and one with 2.39ghz clock speed...?
--Samsung site mentions both in specification. Does that means some cores have 2.39 GHz speed and rest 1.69 GHz ?

Thank you for being with Samsung and sharing your concern. We would like to inform you that J7 Max device has Octa-Core Processor with CPU Speed 2.39GHz, 1.69GHz and in combination they all perform the tasks assigned to the device. Be sure to hit ♡ when you find an answer that works for you.

Thank you for clarification......I was looking for how would Helio P20 would do against Snapdragon 625.....and the benchmark I was running only registered 1.69Ghz clockspeed.
