Thanks for being with Samsung and sharing your concern. We would like to inform you that please follow the steps below to enable the premium SMS :
Go to Settings > Applications. Tap the “More” menu and select Special access. Tap on Premium SMS services and select Message service. If you blocked the short messages yourself, this setting will already be set to “Never allow”. Change it to Ask or Always allow.
No sms should be received from these nos 9437922897,9178276812,8249632037,9778742651,9442159712,9442190861,8130028706,9578309409,9442185706,9442166409 strictly.
I have j7 max i can't restore all the messages which I backed up it only restore the messages which I received this year.. It restored only the messages from 1st jan 2017. but my backed up messages are from 2015 so what can I do to restore all the messages
If the Premium SMS app settings is not listing any apps, go to : Settings > Apps > Options (the three dots on top right) > reset app preferences
Now try sending a premium SMS, and the phone will give a pop up saying "this would incur charges" or something like that. Check "remember choice" and then select "Always Allow". Now the "premium sms" option should list the messaging app.
For using 3rd party messaging apps like google messages or Microsoft SMS organizer, you'll have to individually use them to send premium sms, after resetting the app preferences.
