Fingerprint sensor isn't working on my Galaxy J7 Prime

I can't use the home button (fingerprint scanner) to unlock my device. Please help me in this matter.

factory reset this device

No Need to factory reset..

Go to Settings >> Apps >> Show System Apps (touch three dots for going there) >> Fingerprints >> Storage >> Clear Data ...

And your problem will be solved ..✌✌

If you still face same issue then boot your phone into Recovery Mode (By pressing Power + Volume Up + Home Button Simentanoulsy) and then Wipe Cache/ Dalvik from there and reboot your Device ..✌✌✌
