bro even in Android 9, the 3:4H mode only switches the camera resolution to 16mp. But you won't know it. You can only see it when u check the info of the photo. Also, if u use third-party apps like open camera, u can see that the front camera caps at 16.4 megapixels.

yp. its max 16.48 in open camera. is the sensor 25mp as mentioned in the box?

yes. The sensor is 25mp. and that extra megapixels are used for pixel binning. but it only works when you shoot 12mp photos
