Let assume, Your friend want to sent you some Pictures (or Videos) of your recent tour via WhatsApp... But As WhatsApp like apps reduces picture quality (HD is the maximum resolution he can Sent), You have asked him to Sent those pictures (or Videos) in Document format. As in Document format any one can send Files of upto 2GB via WhatsApp without compromising Quality.

So, (1)He sent you the Documents and (2)You Download that Document.. then (3)You tap on the Document and (4)Select Gallery app and get the Picture/Video Preview (in System app which is Gallery App)..
....but now what? How to SAVE or COPY that File?! There is No Such Option!
Even in the Share option there is no option to SAVE/COPY that file...
So, This was my Experience in ONE UI.
I HOPE AFTER THIS POST, SAMSUNG WILL PROVIDE A SOLUTION.
Also Note that, in WhatsApp there is an Option called "MEDIA VISIBILITY" and if you turn it On all the Pictures, Videos you receive from others.. will automatically be saved in Gallery, Including Unwanted photos, videos... Which most of us Don't want , here I'm taking about Saving those specific documents (while Media Visibility is Off).
May be, this issue isn't an issue for you.. but, I suggest you to try it on your own, just once.. and feel the thrill 😂😁.
May be, There is some third party app to do so, But, third party app should never be a solution.
May be, there is.. a way to do so and I don't know that.. (If you know such way.. which don't involve too many non-user friendly tricks.. please comment below)
- We want user friendly ways... May be of 1 to 3 steps and "SAVED"
- Report that issue to Samsung via Samsung Member app, If you think this should have a solution.
