My Whatsapp photos are not showing

I have a latest version of Samsung Gallery and my Whatsapp images and images sent through document format are not showing up on Gallery.

How to get these images show on Gallery

Dear Bhargava, Document format will not be shown in gallery. It shall be in whatsapp documents folder, I think.

Previously Gallery would show both whatsapp images and document images.

Even I have noticed that images shared in couple of my whatsapp groups are not visible in gallery but I have not explored , why it is happening. i think it as some setting of whatsapp only. You can use the save option from that image's option, after that it will be shown in gallery.

Check whatsapp setting --> chats --> media visibility

Media visibility shall be enabled
