I have Samsung Galaxy F22, few days ago I randomly downloaded 8 Ball Pool and while playing, suddenly my phone automatically got restarted. Then I uninstalled the game and the phone worked normally after that. No such auto restarts happened. But today I downloaded Shadow Fight 4, when I opened the game, it was loading normally and then it restarted automatically, the exact same way as the previous one. But this problem never occured before. I didn't update my software, and I'm a light user, a little bit of WhatsApp, and playing random games for 2-3 hour max in a week. This phone is around 1 year 5 months old. I didn't find any reason behind this. Anyone can help?

I have a pending One UI Core 5.1 update, do you think the update might solve the problem?

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Kindly use a genuine Samsung charger.
We always recommend using a genuine Samsung charger for charging your device.

There are two methods to disable the auto restart function
1- Tap on Settings> General management>Reset > Disable Auto restart (if enabled)> Auto restart disabled.
2- Tap on Settings> Battery and device care> Three dots> Automation> Auto restart at set times if enabled.

If you are facing this issue after installing any new application then uninstall that application.
Tap on Settings> Apps > desired app> Uninstall> Ok.

Update device software (If available): Settings > Software update > Download and install > Checking for software update > Software update available > Download > Downloading updates > Install now.

Reset settings: Tap on Settings>General Management> Reset and then tap on Reset settings.

1. Close all applications running in background -> consumes more ram & device may restart

2. While doing heavy task don't set brightness to full -> device temperature increases & phone may restart to control the temperature

3. Turn on Adaptive battery -> it will prevent other apps from running frequently in background

4. While doing heavy tasks remove back cover

5. Set 'auto delete unnecessary data' frequency to 'daily at midnight' from storage booster

6. Update all applications from play store. Maybe some app may also causing this issue

6. Clear cache partition from recovery mode. Outdated OR corrupt cache memory may also cause phone to restart automatically.

7. Update your phone software to latest if you got any update.

8. Try factory resetting your device.

9. If your battery health is in bad condition then also phone may restart. You can check battery health from samsung diagnostic -> IF GOOD then battery health is good

10. Get your phones os reflashed from service center

11. Even if problem persist then there is some issue with your device motherboard. Get it checked from svc
