I've always liked to buy Samsung phones due to their good quality. I purchased the Galaxy F54 5G on June 8, 2024. It worked perfectly till September 2025. I checked for updates on a regular basis and, if they were available, installed them right away to ensure better performance.

But during October 2025, I updated the software, and a GREEN LINE appeared on the screen. It was appearing some time and then disappearing. Then again, I updated the software, and I found two GREEN LINES. It was not permanent, but now it appears permanently on left side of the screen.

I eventually decided to contact the Samsung service centre about this issue; they informed me that because your phone is out of warranty, you have to pay INR 8000 (approx.) for repair. FYI: I've seen the same complaints in the Samsung forums for the same model. After spending more than 20K and having to deal with this type of problem, I don't think it's worth it.

Let see how Samsung responds to this issue, and whether they offer any goodwill gesture and stand by its products, especially when so many others are experiencing similar problems.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer care support through Samsung Members App as a error report also send log files along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace /repair it's. If you like Please accept it's as a solution it's help to others users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

Many people veiws are same and still Samsung is not stand by their product and not ready to accept the product defect.

Do you think it's worth to spend INR 8k for repair it for the phone purchased in INR 22K. And after spending INR 8k, are Samsung giving guarantee that the said problem will not arise for next 2-3 years.

Rather I will add few more thousand and will buy some other brand phone.

I can't afford to spent more than 20k every year for phone

FYI - we are 4 in my family and 3 are using Samsung phone.

But now onwards will have to think over it.
