Difficulty in going to what's app menu

I am using galaxy f23.I am having difficulty in going to what's app menu through the recent contacts.needs help

send the screen shot from contacts. what is your problem?

Click on "recent tab" and then select number you want to do whatsapp and then click to "view contact details" and then select whatsapp option.
