Compared to other brands smartphone.
Samsung models have poor signal reception.
When we are in inside home or closed building..
Signals will get lost and sometimes get weak.
Even though it showing two points of network.
Other person who is calling to us, receives message that our phone is switched off.
Fortunately, if it is connected the call, other person can't hear our voice clearly. We have to come outside and talk then only other person can hear clearly.
The same issue it won't happen on any other brand phones.
This issue is not facing by only me..
Every Samsung user saying this thing.
I tested my sim with other brand phones.
I haven't faced any call quality issues, Inside and outside of my home.
Samsung not doing the job what actually phone do.

My model is A50
My father's model is M20
We have other brand phones not listing here..
Those are non chinese and chinese brands

See Samsung provides less SAR value in its phones as it is good for our health in lomg term use
but if you live in a place where network is very week then it can be a problem
because low sar value leads to poor signal reception

One day, due to power cut, me and my room mates decided to play pubg game, we all are using Ai***l network only, and my roommates phones are No***a, O**P***, R***i ,... all are started playing good...
but, mine is struggling to connect the network...
sad thing is, O**p*** user said, I'm sharing hotspot, connect and play...
i connected to the hotspot and started playing smoothly... i realized from that day, how phone network is so bad compared to other brands.
Many times, i lost the calls, many people are complaining me, that my phone is always in switched off, we can't able to connect you...

My model is A50. It's horrible mobile reception. Ifyou have this mobile from samsung expect no OTP from banks to complete your transaction

May not reset email password due to OTP

Can't call someone for emergency help.
Can get screwed from boss.

  • I bought two A52 phones 6 months ago and have the worst signal ever. It is last time I am buying Samsung product. What a waste of money. I also didn't receive a cash back 160£ for both phones that was promoted in the offer.

you are right. i have m33 model. i  also thought samsung cellular antenna will be a good one and i wont face any problem while making calls.  but it doesnt receive cellurlar signal (leave alone  internet network signal) and voice quality.  my collegues having different  devices of brands , with the same service provider , have no problem at all either for making calls or browsing.

if i talk to customer care, they have a stero-type reply , remove 3rd party app or reset or reboot

now i have to think twice before buying this brand devices in future

I have been using Samsung from its first generation till now.  Almost 20 over years. I must say the quality is getting worse and worse.  All along I thought its my service provider until my daughter decided to change to Apple 14 then I realised its the phone. I can hardly get reception in restaurants especially those in the basement.  And even car park.  But my daughter's Apple phone is OK.  I often have problems scanning menu in a restaurant.  Very disappointed with Samsung.

I have previously used Samsung A50 and sold it after 4 months of usage due to poor network reception.

Now again after 4 years, I have purchased Samsung's most premium phone Galaxy Z Fold 4 and I am surprised to see the same poor network reception in this device too.

Other brand phones with same processor has very good network reception but Samsung is always poor in this.

Don't know why Samsung has done this type of capping in its phones.
