Frankly, it’s unacceptable for a device priced at ₹39,999 to deliver such poor photographic results. In fact, I have used ₹20,000 phones that outperform the A55 in both photo and video quality, which is infuriating.

Camera Quality Issues:
- Artifacts and Inconsistent Quality: The camera processing consistently produces artifacts, especially in challenging lighting conditions. This is not just a minor inconvenience; it fundamentally undermines the purpose of owning a smartphone with a purportedly advanced camera system.

- Noise Problems: There are noticeable noise issues in homogeneous areas like the sky and indoor shots. Photos often appear grainy and lack clarity, making them unusable for anyone who values quality in their photography.

- Bokeh Mode Failures: The bokeh mode is riddled with segmentation errors. It fails to accurately separate subjects from the background, resulting in images that look unprofessional and poorly executed.

- Unacceptable Image Quality
Daylight photos look like budget phone shots with oversaturated colors and washed-out shadows

- Low-light performance is a joke: Noise dominates shadows, and Night Mode introduces ghosting artifacts16

- Front camera is embarrassing: Washed-out selfies, no zoom capability, worse than 3-year-old Xiaomi phones

Comparative Analysis:
When comparing the A55 to its peers in the Indian market—like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Nothing Phone 2—it becomes painfully clear that Samsung has dropped the ball.
It’s disheartening to see that competitors are providing superior camera experiences at lower price points.

Immediate Action Required:
I say that Samsung prioritize a comprehensive update to address these glaring issues in the next software release. The camera capabilities must be enhanced to meet even basic expectations for a mid-range smartphone:

1. Improve Image Processing Algorithms: Focus on reducing noise and eliminating artifacts.
2. Enhance Bokeh Mode Functionality: Ensure accurate subject detection and background blur.
3. Optimize Low-Light Performance: Invest in better algorithms for nighttime photography.
4. Image processing currently produces artifacts and inconsistent quality, especially in challenging lighting conditions.
5. Noticeable issues with noise in homogeneous areas like sky and indoor shots.
6. Prioritize camera firmware fixes: Address noise reduction, autofocus reliability, and portrait segmentation.

@SamsungIndia @Samsung needs to understand that a phone priced at ≈₹40,000 is not a budget or mid range phone. It is a upper mid range phone. It needs to perfect at every function(s). Please🙏, this need to be fixed. Use the full potential of the given processor.

Already did it, almost 2 times. According to them, there's insufficient log files to report an issue. Hence closed the report eventually.

Also, it's not a bug that needs to be fixed or a internal/external issue that needs to be reported as error report.

But thanks for your attention! 😊

I think, 1480 is also a capable processor as it can perform all the heavy tasks very effectively and efficiently without consuming too much battery.

The problem, is with the Samsung who is limiting the full potential of processor.

still in competition it gets beaten up by other phone companies its high time that samsung should atleast give mediatek dimensity or sd processors in a series or else a series will be shut down very soon

Giving Snapdragon or Mediatek, don't change the performance if and only if, the specs of Exynos counterparts are almost same. Eventually, it all comes down to Samsung because, they will decide the optimization level.
