1 a50s suddenly doesnt charge with wall socket, charges only with PC (laptop / tv)

2 Torch works only while mobile is in charging

3. Fast charging toggle turns grey while mobile is charging 

4.Mobile doesnt connect to Pc with USB 

Many has posted same problem but no solutions. Is it software glitch or something else?🙄🙄

Hard reset did not work, other wall sockets and USB cable tried and tested.

1. Have you tried with a other adaptor?
2. I am not sure if I read it right.
3. Thats how this works, you can't change Settings while its connected to charger.
4. Have you tried another data cable?

My adoptor was blown away due to high volatge, i still have original cable. it is almost impossible to find spare samsung original charger/ cable in market. I brought spare adaptor of A1 plus ( seemed genuine ) which i connected with my original cable and it worked fine ( even fast charging worked) . Suddenly few days back mobile showed notification of not recognizing the charger. Then only i noticed fast charger turns off when i connect to charger and torch works only when mobile is connected to charger. I even tried with Redmi Original charger but it didnt work

I will recommend you to first use and original Samsung charger, For fast charging u need atleast 15w charger. (Borrow from someone like your friend or relative to check). And if that original charger works fine and your issue is resolved buy one from Samsung Shop online so that you can be assured that you have original charger.

(From my experience MI or Chinese brands chargers aren't neither compatible with Samsung nor they are good for Samsung phones). If your phone doesn't even work as intended with 15W Samsung original charger, Visit a service center as soon as possible.

If you want original samsung charger check out samsung shop app.

Or you can use mivi chargers and cables too(purchase from mivi website only).

While connecting to pc, drag the notification panel and choose the behaviour of cable connection to share data and then select allow in popup on mobile.

For torch I think you should force stop android system once and then check.

these are old threads so just visiting here about recent development and to know if others are facing same problem, certainly feels this is not only about charging issue
