Why does my phone force restart itself while watching youtube

Try to scan your device from malware then check your battery health by going to >settings >battery and device care >optimize now

Then check if "Auto Optimization" is turned on -Restart when needed- try to turn it off. Then try Youtube, if it is not restarted, that probably means you have an issue with your battery.

Kindly make sure that your phone as well as the YouTube app are updated to the last software version. You should try to clear cache the YouTube app from the settings > apps > YouTube app > storage > Clear cache.
