Hey, as we discussed earlier, this is the issue of gift tax. People often think it's a scam because it applies only to gifts worth more than 10k. So normally they receive gifts without paying any tax. Even I have got a 2k voucher without paying a penny.

That's not a scam..here you have to pay a gift tax..
