My device is Samsung galaxy A15 5g make and model is SM-A156E/DS and I'm trying to activate my voicemail on my phone and it is keeping asking add voicemail number and when I try to add my mobile number it just stays there but call are not going to voicemail and the voicemail is not activated yet. I need the voicemail because I do night shift if some calls me they can leave a voice not to my number so that I can check if that call is important or not. Let me know how to activate voicemail on my device. Need the response fast and quick resolution.

It is a Network (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL) dependent service. Device does not have a special role even feature phone also have these options. I don't think any network in India provides this service😂. I hope it clears your concern.

Sorry for slightly wrong info. Jio is not providing this service. Airtel and Vi provides it as Value Added Service.

Activating voicemail on your Samsung Galaxy A15 5G (SM-A156E/DS) should be a straightforward process. Since you're experiencing issues, let's go through the steps again and explore some additional troubleshooting tips:

Steps to Activate Voicemail
1. *Open the Phone app*: Find the Phone app on your home screen or in the app drawer.
2. *Dial the voicemail number*: Tap the keypad icon and dial the voicemail number provided by your carrier. This is usually a specific number, such as *86 or *96.
3. *Follow the prompts*: Listen to the voicemail setup instructions and follow the prompts to create a voicemail password and record a greeting.
4. *Save the voicemail number*: After setting up voicemail, save the voicemail number in your phone's contacts or dialer.

Troubleshooting Tips
1. *Check your carrier's voicemail number*: Ensure you're using the correct voicemail number provided by your carrier.
2. *Verify your phone's voicemail settings*: Go to Settings > Phone > Voicemail and check if the voicemail number is correctly set.
3. *Reset voicemail settings*: Try resetting the voicemail settings to their default values. Go to Settings > Phone > Voicemail > Reset voicemail settings.
4. *Check for software updates*: Ensure your phone is running the latest software version.
5. *Contact your carrier*: Reach out to your carrier's customer support for assistance with activating voicemail on your device.

Additional Steps for Your Device
1. *Check the voicemail app*: On your Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, you might have a separate Voicemail app. Check if this app is installed and configured correctly.
2. *Configure voicemail in the Phone app*: Go to the Phone app > Settings (three dots) > Voicemail > Voicemail settings, and ensure the voicemail number is correctly set.

By following these steps and troubleshooting tips, you should be able to activate voicemail on your Samsung Galaxy A15 5G. If you're still experiencing issues, don't hesitate to contact your carrier's customer support for further assistance.
