Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your vibration issue.

Disconnect all accessories (if any)
1. Disconnect anything plugged into the headphone jack like, a selfie stick, headphones, Bluetooth, etc.
2. Remove any third-party case, protective films, or any other accessory that usually comes in contact with your device.

Restart the device.
How to restart the device:
Please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Press & hold the power key.
Step 2: Tap on Restart.
Step 3: Tap again to Restart your phone.

Sounds and vibration settings.
To check Sound and vibration settings, follow the given steps:
1-Go to Settings > Sounds and Vibration. Enable the toggle for Vibrate while ringing. If it’s already on, disable it and enable it again.
2-You must manually check that the vibration settings for the required functions are enabled.
3- To check System sound/Vibration control follow the given steps:
Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > System sound/Vibration control. Enable the required toggles.

Change Vibration Pattern and Intensity.
Follow the given steps:
Go to Settings > Sounds and Vibration>Then check,
1-Call vibration pattern.
2-Notification vibration pattern.
3-Vibration intensity.

If vibration doesn’t work for a particular app, like the Messages app, you should check the app’s settings.

Samsung smartphones let you customize the notification settings separately for each app. Vibration must have been disabled accidentally for the app.

There are two ways to check this. Firstly, you can open the app settings directly from the app and enable vibration under Notification settings.

Alternatively, go to phone Settings > Apps. Tap on the problematic app. Then tap on Notifications.

kindly perform the following steps to resolve your fingerprint issue.

If your fingerprints fail to unlock the phone, and you are asked to type in the lock screen password, follow the same steps to resolve the problem:

Have you checked your fingers?
Ensure that your fingers are clean and dry.
Note: If the skin on your fingertips is peeling or cracking, or your fingerprint is difficult to capture, the fingerprint ID on your phone may not work.
If your fingerprints fail to unlock the phone while the phone is recharging, remove it from the charger and try again. If you are charging the phone with a charger and data cable from other brands when you use fingerprints to unlock the phone, they may interfere with the fingerprint sensor and cause the recognition to fail.

Clean the fingerprint sensor with a soft cloth. Make sure the fingerprint sensor is dry and free from any debris that may cause the sensor to be unable to recognize the fingerprint.

Please remove the current fingerprint and set up the fingerprint again. When you touch the sensor to set up a fingerprint, make sure you set the entire fingerprint, including the outer area of your fingertip. Setting the entire fingerprint area enables successful fingerprint recognition with any grip.

Please follow the below steps:
How to remove Fingerprint:
Tap on Settings >Biometrics and Security > Fingerprints> Fingerprint1> Remove> Tap on Remove again to confirm.

How to Set up Fingerprint:
Tap on Settings> Biometrics and Security>Fingerprints Tap on Add Fingerprint> Scan your fingerprint>Place your finger on the sensor, then lift it off when you feel a vibration> Continue >Reposition your finger each time to capture the edge of your fingerprint> Done.>Fingerprint added successfully.
