Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

● Clear camera app data: Settings >> Apps >> Camera >> Storage >> Clear data.
● Please check that you attach unofficial screen protectors (privacy protection films, tempered glass protectors, etc.) to your device. Keep in mind that do not cover the proximity or light sensor area with screen accessories, such as a screen protector or stickers. Doing so may cause the sensor to malfunction and the iris recognition LED may not turn off even when you are very close to it.
Additionally, dirt and debris on the iris camera, LED sensor, or proximity sensor may cause the device to have difficulty recognizing your irises.
● Face recognition failed due to several reasons:
● The face is out of camera view.
● Low-quality face images
● Closed-eye detection
● Please clean the surface of the frontal camera area to get clear face images.
● Please place the whole face in the camera view. You can check it out in the preview of the 'Camera' app.
● Please register your face in the bright area again and turn off the 'Require eyes open' options if you're uncomfortable with them.

For finger print please follow the bellow steps:

*Clean the fingerprint sensor:
Clean the fingerprint sensor with a soft cloth. Make sure the fingerprint sensor is dry and free from any debris that may cause the sensor to be unable to recognize the fingerprint.
Remove fingerprint and set up fingerprint again:

Remove the current fingerprint and set up the fingerprint again. When you touch the sensor to set up a fingerprint, make sure you set the entire fingerprint, including the outer area of your fingertip. Setting the entire fingerprint area enables successful fingerprint recognition with any grip.
*Please follow the below steps:
How to remove Fingerprint:
Navigate to the apps screen and tap on Settings>>Tap on Biometrics and Security>> Tap on Fingerprints>> Tap on Fingerprint>> Tap on Remove>> Tap on Remove again to confirm.

*How to Set up Fingerprint:
● Navigate to the app's screen and tap on Settings.
● Tap on Biometrics and Security.
● Tap on Fingerprints.
● Tap on Add Fingerprint.
● Scan your fingerprint.
● Place your finger on the sensor, then lift it off when you feel a vibration.
● Tap on Continue.
● Reposition your finger each time to capture the edge of your fingerprint.
● Tap on Done.
● Fingerprint added successfully.

● Update the software if available: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-update-software/

● You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.

Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.

If the issue still occurs, please visit the service centre for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service centre with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
