Security updates won't break your device in most cases

There's a risk only if you're installing beta updates

Say that to the s20 plus users with a damaged display after updates and thousands of Exynos 9611 based Samsung users with a failed motherboard.

Search about it, you will get to know. Finally Samsung accepted the issue after almost 6 months and is giving a one time free repair to all s20 plus users.

Updates are all about binary codes.
So,the company sends a code to the processor of the phone to damage a particular thing.
S20 green line issue is like the code has made the pixels vertically self-destruct or to die.
Therefore the the green line issue occurred.

I recommend you not to update your phone.
In the greed of getting some new features or security,we update our phones and at the last, the phone malfunctions and in the worst case it can be dead.
Moreover,A33 as fully fledged knox security. So,without updating phones too there will be harm for the security of the data in your phone.
