1. Update via Galaxy Store (not Play Store)

Samsung apps like Samsung Internet, Galaxy Themes, Messages, etc. are updated through the Galaxy Store, not Google Play Store.

How to update:

1. Open Galaxy Store.

2. Tap the Menu icon (≡) in the bottom right.

3. Tap Updates.

4. Tap Update all (or manually tap each app).

2. Fix: Galaxy Store Stuck on "Loading"

If it doesn’t update and stays stuck on “Loading,” try this:

Clear Galaxy Store cache:

1. Go to Settings > Apps.

2. Tap Galaxy Store.

3. Tap Storage.

4. Tap Clear cache and Clear data.

5. Reopen Galaxy Store and try updating again.

3. Check Wi-Fi and Internet Connection

Even if you’re connected to Wi-Fi:

Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi → Tap the gear icon next to your Wi-Fi → Forget and reconnect.

Open a browser or YouTube to check if Wi-Fi is truly working.

4. Disable "Data Saver" or "Battery Saver" Modes

These can block updates.

Turn off Data Saver:

Settings > Connections > Data usage > Data saver → Turn off.

Turn off Battery Saver:

Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Power saving mode → Turn off.

5. Try Updating in Safe Mode (Optional)

If updates still don’t work, third-party apps may be interfering.

To boot into Safe Mode:

1. Press and hold the Power button.

2. Long press on Power off until Safe mode appears.

3. Tap it. Once in Safe Mode, try opening Galaxy Store and update apps.

6. Check for Software Updates

Go to:

> Settings > Software update > Download and install

An outdated system can cause app update issues.

7. Reset App Preferences (No data loss)

If none of the above works:

> Settings > Apps > Tap 3-dots (⋮) > Reset app preferences

This resets app permissions and background restrictions — sometimes fixing Galaxy Store update issues.
