I received the Android 11 OTA update yesterday and installed it. I also wanted to do a cache partition wipe after the update as it is recommended after all updates. But unfortunately the recovery mode option seems to have been removed in Android 11 for A50. I tried all possible tricks mentioned in this community and also on YouTube. But was unable to get into recovery mode. I read that other S and Note series users are able to perform it by connecting a type C charger cable or headphone but not for A50. I reached out to Customer Care but I just got a reply that they will update the developers. This update seems to be incomplete for A50.

Anyone who has been successful in wiping the cache partition are requested to share their experience.

No. I didn't connect to a laptop or PC. Tried with the type C charger cable and earphones as mentioned in some other posts.

Moreover the irony is Samsung Customer Care didn't know how it is to be done.

It changed with Android 11, now you need to plug the USB-C / micro-USB cable along with the combination buttons (Press & Hold the Power and Volume Up button)

you can enter recover mode by doing this
connect ur device to pc by usbc cable
and make sure ur device is visible in computer as logged in
turn off ur device with the cable connected to pc
and now hold power up and switch on button together until the recovery menu pops up

It didn't work by connecting a type C cable or wired headphones.

Let me try by connecting to a laptop and I'll update you.

■Hold the Power button of your device till the power menu pops up and select Power Off.

■Wait for your device to turn off completely.

■Plug-in a USB-C data cable connected to your PC or USB-C earphones in your device.

■Now, check if your device has a Bixby Button (Such as Galaxy S10/Note10): *****Without Bixby Button: Press Volume Up + Power Button for a few seconds.
*****With Bixby Button: Press Volume Up + Bixby Button + Power Button for a few seconds.

■And you will boot into Recovery mode.
