I used to have many apps installed on the device so the storage space was was very low so I uninstalled those apps but the free space did not increase in fact the my files app said it was the Others category that was taking the space.

I was told that the Files by Google helped save storage. That was true it saved but the storage space was still low. See this the largest folder on internal is Voice Recorder but it's only 20mb

Because of this I tried clearing the cache partition but it did nothing. How can I fix this issue?

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that the “Other” storage category contains data from apps you have installed on your smartphone or tablet. It includes items such as system files, cached data, and temporary files that do not fall into any other storage categories.

The data contained in the “Other” storage category cannot be deleted directly from your device. However, you can clear some of it by deleting cache or app data by the given link.

Clear app cache and data: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/how-to-clear-app-cache-and-data-in-samsung-devices...

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
