Galaxy AHi Community,
I'm facing a concerning heating issue on my Samsung Galaxy A26. Yesterday, I was on a Microsoft Teams video call for just 38 minutes, and the device temperature shot up to nearly 60°C. This seems way above normal for such a basic usage scenario.
Here are some key points:
- The call was over Wi-Fi, not mobile data.
- Screen brightness was at about 60-70%.
- The phone was not charging during the call.
- No heavy background apps were running.
- I’m using the latest available software and Teams version.
- The device was without a case, placed on a table.
This kind of thermal behavior is quite alarming, especially considering the phone wasn’t being pushed hard. I'm worried about the long-term health of the battery and internal components.
Has anyone else experienced similar overheating on the A26 or while using Teams? Is this a known issue with the Exynos 1380? Any official guidance or fix from Samsung would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance!
