Sending photos through default messages!

Can anyone let me know how to enable the samsung messages app to send multimedia through mobile data.

While the google messages app works without any flaw, the samsung messages automatically converts a message with pic as mms and fails to send the media.

Please let me know the trick.

Go to message settings, chat settings, and enable chat features. Also, go to more settings and select multimedia messages and enable options

But looks like if I disable the google messages app, the chat features in samsung messages gets disabled.
Update: Seems like a bug

You can use only 1 app at a time but are you able to send multimedia messages 🤔

Set the samsung messages as default and disabled the google messages. Then chat settings disabled as in the screenshot

Yeah, to use the chat features in samsung messages, we have to keep the google messages enabled. Got Activated in mine now bro after enabling the g messages. Looks like samsung messages is dependent on g messages to cater this feature to users.
