There should be an option to lock the phone in one click so that next time it can only be unlocked by entering the password. It will be used while sleeping.

either when u setup security u disable biometric or at setup time don't select biometrics only pattern or password can be selected biometric can be turned off
or you could try bixby routines
if start button pressed>>then unlock phone

then what will be the use of fingerprint sensor?

option is press n hold power button and choose lockdown option in that.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings > lock screen
2. Open "Secure Lock Settings" and enter PIN/Password.
3. Enable "show lockdown option".

Then long press power button and click on "lockdown mode".

This will be similar to your secure lock screen after restarting device. You'll have to enter PIN/password manually to receive notifications and use phone.
