Hello members, I know that we can scan any QR Codes using Samsung's camera app. Was curious to know why it does not scan even simple barcodes which can be scannned using any 3rd party apps downloaded from playstore. Is there any workaround to solve this issue?

Iske peeche ek technical reason hai: 1. QR Code vs Barcode Ka **bleep**: QR Codes mein complex data (jaise website links, phone numbers, ya UPI IDs) directly encoded rehta hai. Camera app ko sirf use decode karke link par bhejna hota hai. Barcodes (jo vertical lines wale hote hain) unme sirf 12-13 digits ka ek number chupa hota hai. Is number ka tab tak koi fayda nahi jab tak camera ke paas us product ka poora database na ho (jaise Amazon ya Google ke paas hota hai). Isliye camera app use scan karke kuch dikha nahi pata. 2. Workaround (Bina Kisi Third-Party App Ke Kaise Scan Karein?): Aapko Play Store se koi bhi faltu aur ads wali third-party app download karne ki zaroorat nahi hai! Aapke Samsung phone mein hi do zabardast in-built tareeqe hain: Method 1: Bixby Vision (Best Option) Apna Camera app open kijiye. Upar left corner mein ya settings mein aapko Bixby Vision ka option milega. Use on karke kisi bhi barcode par le jaiye. Bixby us barcode ko read karke directly internet par us product ko search kar dega! Method 2: Google Lens (In-Built in Samsung) Apne phone ka Google Search bar widget dekhiye, wahan ek **bleep** sa Camera icon hota hai (Google Lens). Uspar click karke kisi bhi barcode ko scan kijiye. Ye duniya ka sabse fastest barcode scanner hai aur turant product ki details la kar de dega. Bhai, Samsung ne camera app ko clean rakhne ke liye sirf QR functionality di hai, baki heavy scanning ke liye unhone Bixby Vision aur Google Lens system mein pehle se hi integrate kar rakha hai! ⚠️ Ek Choti Si Help: Bhai, agar in in-built workarounds se aapka kaam bina kisi third-party app ke ho gaya ho, toh please mere is reply ke right side mein 3 dots (⋮) par click karke "Accept as Solution" zaroor mark kar dena. Kindly complaint to Samsung customer care support through Samsung Members app as error report also send log files along with this error report for this issue and wait for next update it's maybe fix by Samsung team soon.
