Earn assured rewards on every transaction*

What if you were halfway through your morning walk, and your phone buzzed. It was your mother, informing you that there was to be no milk supply that day. You were asked to get two milk packets on the way home – or risk a deadly no chai morning. You did not have your wallet, and entered the shop armed with just your phone and of course, your face mask.

You made a contactless payment with Samsung Pay, and walked out with two milk packets, ready to start your day.

With digital payments on the rise in India, consumers are no longer dependent on cash or physical cards to shop and pay bills. Consumers can pay online on E-commerce apps, pay via QR codes or make direct bank account transfers using UPI. They can check their account balance or recharge their FASTag with a few clicks. They can also get reminded about their pending payments for timely repayments.

With many options to make digital payments, the decision to use a particular method might depend on several factors such as security of the transaction, simplicity of use, speed, rewards or past payment experiences. Samsung Pay will be a favourite payment companion for all of the above reasons.

You can start adding payment methods easily

Adding Credit/Debit Cards

Samsung Pay supports MST and/or NFC card payments (basis device compatibility) which means your cards in Samsung Pay work almost everywhere** a card is accepted.

Step 1: Add Card Details

You can position your cards in the camera frame box to add them to Samsung Pay. The actual card number and details are never stored on the device. A random digitized card number is assigned instead of original details and that is used for payments. This ensures your card details are safe.

Samsung Knox safeguards your phone against any threats and vulnerabilities. Even if your phone is compromised, the card information is still safely encrypted within a separate and secure data vault.

 Step 2. Verify Details

After a 2-step verification with your bank, you are all set to tap-and-pay with your phone everywhere** a card is accepted!

UPI payments at your fingertips

Here are a few things you do regularly:

  1. Pay bills – Electricity, LPG, Mobile, Cable/DTH and others
  2. Send/receive money from friends and colleagues
  3. Order a meal or dessert for THOSE days
  4. Use QR codes to pay for a ₹20 plate of paani-puri or ₹10k shopping spree

All these and more would work seamlessly with UPI and Samsung Pay.
