Advantages & Disadvantages of One UI 5.1 on Galaxy A52s released on March 29, 2023

1. The phone now has negligible heating. It is far better than the February update.

The gaming frame still lags a little sometimes and occasional gaming could heat the phone to a permissible level now.

The good thing? The phone now does not become a furnace. 😅

2. There is the "English Pack" for Bixby text call. [Loved it, I just would mess with people. 😅]

Not very accurate I think.

3. Edge panels have much more support for different cards now; Officially by Samsung as well as private developers.

4. The call in the background is now not a full green notification bar but a small beautiful green call button. It is only there when the phone is unlocked though.

5. The notifications now don't appear with colours of their own. They now use the colour of the palette that you have applied. For example if it is gray then all the notifications in the bar would be gray.

It is bad.

6. The bixby modes toggle now shows the custom modes created by the user. Back then you could toggle as well but the mode's name or icon was not visible on the notification toggle button but now it has been improved.

There is now a small icon that is visible when you set a particular mode and it looks good.

7. There is now a driving & walking monitor to check how much does a user uses their phone when doing what they are doing. 😅

8. We can now change the screenshot & screen recording folder. It is a nice feature.

9. There is a new screenshot toggle in the notification toggles. I can't comment on its feasibility.

10. There are more video call effects while using whatsapp or any other video call app. You can set a new colour background based on your preference.

11. We can edit the apps that we'd like on the home and lock screens while changing the wallpaper.

Also, we could edit almost all the items on both the screens while changing the above.

12. Keyboard can now invoke the colours of the palette that we set.

13. There is a text shortcut and an enhanced accuracy in the keyboard now.

I don't understand the enhanced accuracy at the moment.

It might be correct typing even when pressed the wrong key maybe
Some tweaks have been added to the Keyboard.

14. The gallery has some changes made as well and they are helpful while editing pictures and videos.

So the heating is no more a issue now. But, it still lags while gaming. That's so sad to hear. 😞 Yeah, at least, as you mentioned, the phone doesn't become a furnace. Lol!

So, what would you suggest now? Should I update this?

Yeah man you should update it.

There is an aura of the new update that is hard to describe.

Some of things are really nice in this update.

You could try formatting if you want a better experience after updating then.

That works better I guess which ofcourse I can't. 😅

And yes I like to review a few things in life, I guess I take my job very seriously. 😄

After having this great conversation with you I decided to just give it a shot now without any more delay.

And, as you mentioned, that If I reset the phone after updating, It would run even better and provide overall better using experience so yeah, I got to do it now. Thanks again!
