This no doubt goes to Samsung A50. I purchased this phone in July 2019 after due diligence. 

But I was in for a shock from the day one. Initially the phone was heating even when not in charge. Also there was rapid discharge of the Battery of A50. 

I was then led by the Samsung Helpline to the Samsung Service Center 3 times till date. 

First the Samsung Service Center reinstalled the Software. They Service Center said there was a problem with the earlier installed Software.  They said that mobile set will be alright now. 

But things went from bad to worse.  I started getting connectivity issues.  The 2nd time the Samsung Service Center changed the Motherboard.  This happened as I had escalated my complaint to the CEO level. I was told by the Samsung Center that now there will no issues. 

But when you have a A50 then you can expect the unexpectable. After the Motherboard change things didn't improve for the A50.  Instead  the Connectivity issue became a thorn with missed calls becoming the norm of the Day. 

I was then told to go to Samsung Service Center for the 3rd time.  Here the Samsung Service Center kept the phone with them for 12 days. They kept sending pictures and videos to Navin Chhetri, Manager Customer Executive at Samsung Electronics HQ. 

After 12 days the Manager Customer Executive at Samsung said that there is a problem of signal strength at my home. He advised me to port from my existing Network Provider to another for the best results.

The Service Center at Samsung also confirmed the same. He said to port from Airtel to Jio. 

Well I didn't buy a 20K phone to port from my Service provider.

All the A50 around the world has issues related to network connectivity and the same cant be solved via any Software OTA updates.. There seems to be some issues with the internal hardware of all the A50, leading to the poor network coverages.. In this case, since the phone is under warranty, you can request to replace the phone as three visits to the service center didn't solve the issues.

Yes you are right ArvindFluidic. But I have been told by the Manager Customer Executive at Samsung that there is no Replacement for the phone.

Navin Chettri clearly said the rule book says that Samsung does not give any Replacement for the said A50.

I mentioned to him that it is a Hardware issue and so my phone should be replaced.

But he was adamant on his refusal. He said that I can approach the Service Center umpteen times but Samsung India will not replace the phone.
