Samsung Messages App is a featureless app

The default messages app on Samsung phones doesn't have spam or block feature.

Given that in India, the government doesn't punish the companies for unsolicited me sms, the companies are sending messages even dnd services are enabled on mobile service provider. The messages app must have a way to block messages or have spam detection for auto blocking such messages.

Don't ask me to uw truecaller app which is full of advertisements. Samsung should have developed a good messages app with such functions when they have millions of handsets on the line of their hiya services which is enabled on my phone for dealing with spam calls. 

I have for now enabled Google messages app for this features but still looking for a solution from samsung itself.

Samsung is going to make Google Messages App as the default one

I own s22 ultra and they granted google message as default messaging app. It blocks non number texts as well but samsung message app is worthless
