Cons of A34:
  • Poor Camera 📷- According to the price of the phone, the camera quality is very poor. Low light performance is very bad. Ultrawide shots are blurry. Macro doesn't focuses properly.
  • Average Battery Life 🔋: With 120Hz refresh rate the battery drops about 20% in an hour with standard usage (watching video on Youtube with 5G). Although switching to 60Hz will help but still the battery drop is around 12%/hour with standard usage.
  • No adaptive refresh rate feature present.
  • Notch & Bezels: The U shaped notch & thin bezels makes the phone look old & cheap.
  • Thickness of the phone: The phone is very thick,it seems like holding a brick. But good thing is that it doesn't feels heavy in hand.
  • Overpriced 💸: In my opinion, the phone should be priced about ₹22K. Considering the brand name of Samsung at max it can be priced to ₹25K. But at price of around ₹30K, buying the A34 is totally a waste of money.
  • Software bugs: Once my phone battery got stuck at 83% while charging. I reconnected my charger then it went upto 87% but again automatically it dropped to 83%. I restarted my phone and then the issue went away.
  • Accidental touch protection doesn't works properly: If you have enabled the double tap to turn on screen gesture, and the phone is in your pocket, still there will be false touches ,even if you keep accidental touch protection ON.
  • No 3.5mm jack
  • No charger in the box

If you also have A34 and facing the same issues, add your comments.

Can't tell if the cons here are legitimately true!

As For The phone That is 1 year old now and a Bit optimized

Low light performance on camera Are as impressive as the A54 the only Downside is the Video performance on low light since the Camera itself cant Produce Clearer low light videos photos as the cpu Improves the quality while running In full 30fps shutter speed.

Macro Is a fixed focus, It doesn't focus automatically same as the A54... Both of them has the same 5MP macro lens sensor.

Ultrawide though, It is Blurry on low light unless you use night mode, but Its still very terrible on very low light scenarios

Battery depends on optimization/usage/and apps.. Mine only Drain 7-9% In 1 hour in Light usage such as Youtube etc, even on 5G (Probably since One ui 6.1 has arrived) probably seeing more Performance/efficiency improvement Over the next One UI upgrade)

Adaptive refresh rate could be possible in this phone, its just that Samsung didn't enable that feature cuz... Its cheaper and For the A54 to be seen as the best in all

Most Samsung phones nowadays Dont Have a free charger in the box and a headphone jack unless u buy a phone bundle which have a freebie on it

Software bugs? Well Thats on the developers side not on the phone itself

For a very Casual/gamer User That Had used an Iphone like me, That notch is actually Better than Iphone 14's Huge notch

and phones nowadays are thick even the new A55 or even the Pixel 8a and even Yhe iphone 15 pro max, Fun fact A54 bezzels are Thicker than the A34

I just hope that samsung Enable Adaptive refresh rate on this phone... 60hz Is very Efficient whenever the phone is idle or Watching youtube

Not sure if you’re speaking about the indian version of A34, I am not impressed by the low light performance. The phone is decent but just a bit overpriced. Now it is available at ₹22K, so now it can be said value for money but at ₹28K which was the original price this was not a great purchase.
