Galaxy A
Hello,
I am using a Samsung Galaxy A33 5G (SM-A336E, India).
Around 6 days after installing the recent official security update, my device started showing the following behavior:
Green screen during Samsung logo
Automatic restart
Continuous boot cycle
There has been no physical damage or water exposure. The device was working normally before the update.
I visited Samsung support, and I was informed that the main board may need replacement. The estimated repair cost is quite high compared to the device value.
I would like to request guidance on the following:
Has this behavior been observed after the recent update?
Is there any recommended solution before proceeding with board replacement?
Is there any support option available in such situations?
Kindly request assistance.

Galaxy AHi Samsung Support Team,
Thank you for your response.
I understand that updates are designed to improve performance and are tested for reliability. However, in my case, the issue began approximately 6 days after installing the official OTA security update, and the device had no prior hardware symptoms, physical damage, or water exposure.
The service center has diagnosed it as a board-level fault and advised motherboard replacement. However, the quoted repair cost is significantly high relative to the device value, which is concerning considering the issue occurred shortly after an official update.
I would like to respectfully request:
A deeper technical review of this case to determine whether the update could have contributed to the failure.
Consideration for a goodwill repair or cost support, given the circumstances.
Clarification on whether similar cases have been reported following the recent update.
I am not questioning the professionalism of the service team, but I believe this situation warrants further review beyond standard repair guidelines.
Kindly refer this matter to the appropriate technical team for re-evaluation.
