Review of Custom Rom with Custom Kernel on Galaxy a52s 5G

I've been using the UN1CA ROM on my A52s 5G(based on galaxy S23 Firmware) for about a week now, and it's been amazing! It's so smooth and has all the features of the Galaxy S23. Even the Dex and Galaxy AI works perfectly. I haven't found a single thing that doesn't work.

And the performance and battery life improvement is mainly due to Ascendia Kernel with kernel SU( custom kernel).

Does it support a52 4g and how about upi apps.

Yes, all snapdragon models of Samsung phones are compatible with Un1ca rom.

I use kernelSU, so it's working for me without any workaround, and play integrity fix is already pre integrated on Rom.
but, If you waana use magisk, then most upi app can detect root you can still get some of app working through zyzisk denylist but few app still detect even after workaround so it will depend on what you waana use magisk or kernelSU or Apatch.

Go to the xda forum for your device.
Search for "a52 xda forum" on searX (or whatever search engine you use, I hate to even mention Google, Bing, or even DuckDuckGo).

Is samsung wallet and samsung health still working?

Samsung wallet heavily relies on knox, and when you unlock the bootloader, knox chip hardware just destroys itself, but the knox patch LSposed module which is pre integrated in the rom fixes most Samsung app like health, smartthings , wearable, store, camera except just wallet/pass(it's the only app that doesn't work)

What is the difference between UN1CA and the 6.1 currently on my A52s? I have read the specs, but are any features really worth the trouble? How good or different are the enhanced animations for instance?

I used the device with the ascendia kernel, I have 6gb version and due to the heavy UI of s23 like live blur, high end animations my device was not that snappy. I reinstalled stock oneui, will try the one ui 7 version in future.

now in stock ROM I can not use secure folder anymore. that's not a dealbreaker for me , I have to use it in the future then this ROM will be in my consideration.

But if you switch back to un1ca
Coz once you unlock bootloader their is no going back on stock rom.
i will recommend using adreno GPU driver modified which improves performance of a52s by like 30 percent my phone never lags after installing that gpu driver
v744.19G is the most stable one on a52s which works without any bootloop issues you will have to flash this module through ksu/magisk
