Galaxy ADear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.
If you're having an issue with Samsung Windows or if it isn’t running properly, you can use Samsung Recovery to reset the device and restore it to a previous point in time. Samsung Recovery has options for creating a backup, performing a reset, and even restoring the Windows OS. You should consider creating backups regularly when it is running well, especially if you plan to make big changes. This will ensure that you have a stable backup available in case Samsung Notebook model, such as your Galaxy Book or Galaxy Tab Pro S, ever malfunctions. You can also reset your Microsoft account password if you’ve forgotten it.
Recover from a backup:
If data is suddenly gone or if Windows isn’t running properly, You can still recover your data and information from the backup you created on a storage device.
Please follow the below steps:
Step1: Connect the external storage device with the backup data to your Windows PC (If required).
Step2: Go to Start icon, and click on Samsung Recovery or search Samsung Recovery.
Step3: Click on Backup and restore management
Step4: Click on Restore to your desired backup.
Step5: Select Start restore, and then select OK.
The PC will restart and begin the recovery. The process may take a couple of minutes.
Perform a factory reset:
A factory reset will delete all your personal information from your Windows PC. Make sure to back up sensitive or important information before starting a factory reset, so you don't lose your data.
Please follow the below steps:
Step1: Go to Start icon, and click Samsung Recovery or search Samsung Recovery.
Step2: Select Computer factory reset, and then select Start factory reset
Step3: Select OK, and then use the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
In case the issue still occurs, please visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
