Problem with dual whatsapp

I am facing problems with dual whatsapp messenger. Since the last update done to my A51 model, i am unable to open document files like pdf and word files in the dual app. Also i am unable to use camera in dual app. Main whatsapp is working fine.

Yes, everyone will face the same issue with whatsapp dual messenger. This is because of the recent policy changes implemented Samsung and WhatsApp. There isn't exactly any solution.
But to eliminate your problem, do the following steps:

1. Open your cloned whatsapp account->settings->chats->chat backup.
Backup all your messages, photos, videos, docs on your device and your google drive.
Ensure that you remember the credentials of your google account that you're using as backup.

2. Next,open play store and download whatsapp business. Install, add your dual whatsapp phone number, verify your otp. You will get a prompt asking whether you want to restore your content from backup. Select your google account and all your content will be restored on your account after sometime depending upon the size of the backup taken.

3. Lastly, go to settings and disable the option of dual messenger.

Moreover, for viewing images, videos etc. in MyFiles app, go to file manager->Internal storage->Android->media->com.whatsapp
And for wapp business , the file is com.whatsapp.w4b

Thanks so much for this tip, as I hv been trying to figure out what suddenly went wrong with my WhatsApp dual messenger, unable to open pdfs not share some videos.
This has happened after I applied that latest Android update (Security patch level of 1May21)

This is so unfortunate as I hv nearly 30GB of data in WA, and given my past experience with WhatsApp RESTORE from Google Drive, it is not smooth at all.
Video and chats do not get properly restored.

Seriously thinking of moving over to OnePlus, as Samsung Android keeps deteriorating in terms of stability.

Backing up & restoring 30Gigs iz A helluva waste of time and again one can never be sure if RESTORE would go smoothly.

Problem solved using your suggestion. But samsung should do something about this problem. Otherwise no use having dual app.

Yeah man. Samsung should immediately resolve this issue via software update.

@Chaman17, thanks so much, I have been stuck trying to figure out why it was not continuing just stuck at 'preparing to restore messages'. After removing dual messenger and installing the business version it worked immediately. Thanks!
