VoNR or Vo5G is not working during call. The network is getting switched to VoLTE. One of the most common suggestion is to force 'NR Only' mode using any third party app. However the problem in that case is if 5G network is not available the device would not switch to 4G automatically. Vo5G should be working in auto network mode.

It's working in some places .. so this depends on network provider location wise ..
