I don't recommend to root your phone and install a custom rom which we cannot predict it's behaviour. Rooting your device may cause hardware failures in future (I have personally experienced with my Galaxy S7). Consequently, Think twice before doing it. Because no one relish to harm their valuable phone just for an upgraded software.
