Dear Samsung member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

We regret to hear about your experience with our product. Please believe that this is not a usual occurrence.

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concerns.

1. Galaxy device vibration issue: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/solutions-for-when-your-galaxy-phone-wont-vibrate-...

2. Galaxy device ringtone issue: ● Although your ringtones should play whenever you receive a call or message, there may be a few reasons why you can't hear them. For example, you may have enabled certain settings like Do not Disturb, Airplane mode, and Focus mode. These can prevent you from hearing ringtones.

● Increase your device's volume: Close all apps and stop playing media. Then, use the volume buttons to increase your device's volume. The ringtone volume won't increase if headphones are connected or media is playing.

● Verify your ringtone settings. You can set a default or custom ringtone for your phone, or a specific ringtone for a contact. You can also set sounds for alerts and messages. If you've set a custom ringtone for other calling apps, check the sound settings within those apps. Contact the app developer for further assistance.

● Check if "Mute all sounds" is on. Go to Settings, tap Accessibility, then Hearing enhancements. Tap the switch next to "Mute all sounds" to turn it off.

● Check if Airplane mode is on. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to open Quick settings. If Airplane mode is on (blue icon), tap it to turn it off.

● Check for modes that might mute your phone. Go to Settings, then tap Modes and routines and Digital Wellbeing. Turn off any modes (like Sleep or Relax) that might silence the ringtone.

● Check your Do not Disturb settings. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers to open Quick settings. Touch and hold the Do not Disturb icon to check its settings. You might have accidentally enabled it for too long. If you want to keep Do not Disturb on but still receive calls from certain contacts, you can set up exceptions.

● Restart your phone. Swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers, tap the Power icon, tap Restart, and tap Restart again to confirm. Wait for your phone to restart and check if the problem is solved.

● Reset the device:
IMPORTANT:
• Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
• Remember google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
• If you do not remember it, then reset, (Forgot password) your google account.
• For this:
• Open Gmail (https://accounts.google.com/servicelogin) > forgot password >Select ""try another way"" > Next > Enter a new password > Next.

Please follow the below steps to reset the device: Settings > General Management > Reset > Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup > tap on Factory data reset (This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps)

If the issue persists, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send).

Warm Regards,
