I have a small issue.

Background
I have a galaxy phone: a33 5g
The phone support 5g mode for only one SIM at a time.
I have 2 sim inserted in the phone both of different service provider.
The phone is working properly.
Internet is working as expected.

I uses SIM 1 for data and calls
SIM 2 is used when SIM 1 do not have enough data or is out of network.

Issue arise when I switch mobile data.

For example:
I am using mobile data of sim 1.
SIM 1 is set to network mode {5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)}
SIM 2 is set to network mode {LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)}

Image showing different network mode available.

When I switch mobile data from SIM 1 to SIM 2
SIM 1 network mode changes to {LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)}
SIM 2 network mode changes to {5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)}

That change of network mode is my issue.
To be specific change of network mode takes time and that time is my issue.

I want a way to switch mobile data without changing the network mode.

Turning on power saving mode does this. But I do not want to keep power saving mode on.

Video demonstrating my problem.

This can be possible because standby 5g is not available in that phone for both the phones.

You're experiencing a network mode change delay when switching mobile data from SIM 1 to SIM 2. This delay is caused by the network mode changing from a specific setting (e.g., LTE only) to auto-connect mode (e.g., LTE/3G/2G auto-connect).

To switch mobile data without changing the network mode, you can try the following workarounds:

*Method 1: Disable Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS)*

1. Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager.
2. Toggle off "Dual SIM dual standby" or "Dual SIM always on" (the exact option may vary depending on your device).
3. Restart your device.

*Method 2: Use a Third-Party App*

1. Download and install an app like "SIM Toolkit" or "Dual SIM Manager" from the Google Play Store.
2. Follow the app's instructions to configure your SIM settings and switch mobile data without changing the network mode.

*Method 3: Edit the APN Settings (Advanced)*

1. Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names (APN).
2. Create a new APN or edit an existing one.
3. Set the "Network mode" to the desired setting (e.g., LTE only).
4. Save the changes.

*Method 4: Check for Firmware Updates*

1. Ensure your device is running the latest firmware.
2. Check for updates in Settings > Software update.

If none of these methods work, you may want to consider contacting your device manufacturer's support or visiting a authorized service center for further assistance
