Use Secure Folder for locking apps.
Use the following app, it works great and is very fast.

And its UI also trash

using 3rd party app not worth they can easily be bypass by uninstalling the app or from phone settings...

Galaxy Aalso if u try using contacts in secure folder u gonna need to import all contacts again in secure folder contact app and with all other apps
