it might be port issue or you haven't inserted card properly

clean your sd card tray and then insert it and once restart your device

just check if the sd card was in some device earlier where it was encrypted , decrypt it in that device and put it in yours

Check your SD card by connecting to a A PC or another phone.

there can be two reasons for that
1. you sd card is corrupt
2. sd card might having some dirt, clean the gold connector
insert it again, or insert some other sd card to check
if it doesn't recognise any then your phones slot has some issues

Be assured, to resolve the issue please follow below given steps:-

 

1. Check device in safe mode:- Using Safe Mode on a Samsung phone allows you to force the device to run the essential operating system, and disable most 3rd party applications.
To enter in safe mode:- Press and hold the Power key, when Power off icon appears > Press and hold the power off icon.
To exit safe mode restart the device.

 

2. Reset the device:- Before resetting, kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
How to reset:- Settings > General management > Reset.
