Moisture alert at USB C charging port and not charging

Dear All, 

I am facing a "moisture alert "for USB charging port and I cannot charge my phone since yesterday.

 while the phone was on my hand suddenly I noticed this water drop icon on the notice notification bar after that phone is not taking any charge. 

Whenever I was trying to connect my USB charger and then again it is getting big alarm to remove the USB charger and to clean the USB port. 

I have tried to open the system apps and removing the cache but even it is re-appearing. It is frustrating the suddenly this problem appears on the phone within the six month of purchase. 

Is it a software problem? 

anybody else is facing the same issue?

Please take your phone to the nearest service centre rather than trying to repair by yourself. If you don't you may lose your device permanently.

Keep the phone away for a while and try again after few time as I also had this issue but it solves itself. Just don't connect it to a charger
