There is an option for grammar check in Gboard.

I think this option gets enabled only when you select gboard as the default spell checker which will deactivate that function on Samsung keyboard.

Gboard has more functionality than skeyboard

I used to use gboard for years and hated the skeyboard. But now I use skeyboard because of the keyscafe app. It has some unreal customisation.
