Issue: "Can't call from a personal app" during WhatsApp call

Hi everyone,

May I know if anyone else is facing this issue?

Whenever I'm on a WhatsApp call and try to make a regular voice call (normal SIM call), I get this error message:

"Can't call from a personal app
Your organisation only allows you to make calls from work apps"

I'm not part of any organisation or MDM (Mobile Device Management) setup as far as I know. This happens on my Samsung A55 with One UI 7.

Is there any fix or setting I need to check? Appreciate any help!

We request you kindly share the log file. Also, share the video clips and images for better understanding. This will help us to investigate further and resolve this issue.

To share the log file: Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> Select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.

Note: To ensure relevant log information is included in the error report, submit the report within 3 minutes of encountering the bug or error, and do not terminate (swipe away) the Samsung Members application until you are notified that the report has been sent. This can take up to 5 minutes.

Thanks for your response.

I wanted to clarify that this issue is only happening with the Dual WhatsApp app. I tested it with the main (normal) WhatsApp, and it works fine — I’m able to make regular calls without any error.

Also, I kindly request if someone can directly share a possible solution or setting to check. I’ve submitted logs multiple times in the past, and unfortunately, I never received a proper resolution or follow-up.

I truly appreciate the support, but I hope this time we can have a more direct answer or workaround for this specific Dual App issue on my Samsung A55 with One UI 7.
