Galaxy ADear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
We apologize for the inconvenience you are facing. We understand your concern and will help you resolve this. Kindly follow the below steps to resolve your issue:
1. Open your “Settings” menu and tap on the “Apps” option.
2. At the upper right corner of the “Apps” screen, tap on the more options icon.
3. On the displayed menu, select the “Special access” option.
4. Tap on “All files access” to check what apps have the permissions.
5. Search “Samsung capture” and if the access is not allowed, enable it. If the access is already enabled, turn it off and on and try taking the screenshot again.
Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the software for your device.
Check that the condition of your physical buttons is adequate and that they are not damaged.
Check the phone's memory space. You may need to perform a memory status check on your device.
Check your phone case as this can sometimes cause issues when taking screenshots. Try removing your phone case.
Capture a screenshot while using the device. Press the Side key (Power key) and the Volume Down key simultaneously. You can view the captured screenshots in Gallery.
In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).
Thank you for writing to Samsung.
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
