I have Samsung A73 5G which I have been using for less than 2 years. On 11/09/2024 while using mobile as usual suddenly a green line appeared on my display. I went to service centre where they quoted 7.3k for display replacement. So I checked online for this issue and found that a lot of A73 users have also reported same problem in last 20 -30 days. So I raised this with Samsung customer service on members app. They called me regarding this said they cannot anything as it is out of warranty and I will have to pay get it repaired. This model is not covered for free replacement.
I do not understand why do I have to pay for something that I did not do? If device was damaged due to my mistake I would gladly get it repair with my money. But for this issue somewhere something is wrong with Samung update that has led to widespread common issue among A73 mobiles.
I also raised this on Samsung CEO mail but reply was same as before .
So the only reply to Samsung and solutions for this I thought is to not getting my device repaired and advertise my Samsung A73 5G to others with green line on display and showing them high quality service and products of Samsung before they choose to buy a Samsung device.
As on 01/10/24 samsung has said that they cannot do the replacement for free and willing for a discount of 50%.

I’m reaching out to share my frustrating experience with my Samsung Galaxy M52 5G. Recently, a pink line suddenly appeared on the screen. I took it to the customer service center, where they confirmed that there’s no physical damage—no scratches or anything on the screen.

They informed me that this issue was caused by a faulty update from Samsung, but despite this, they refuse to replace the display for free. To make matters worse, I’ve tweeted multiple times and sent emails to customer care, but they aren’t replying or offering any help.

It’s incredibly disappointing to see a major company not stand behind their product when it’s clearly a software issue on their end. Has anyone else faced a similar problem? What steps did you take? I’m considering my options moving forward, as this experience has left me questioning my loyalty to Samsung.

Same issue with my A73 phones. Samsung workshop already accepted that this issue cames due to software update inspite of samsung company told me it's chargeable.
I puted complaint to consumer forum then they ask me for bill. When I mailed my bill to him the told me same like before that sir it's chargeable.
My experience with samsung is very worst. In future specially I and my family will not buy any product from Samsung.

I am experiencing a green line on the display of my Samsung A73 5G. The phone has no physical damage, and the service center confirmed the same but refused a free screen replacement, stating the device is out of warranty.

Customer service has given the same response. I believe this issue is due to a recent software update, and samsung should provide a free screen replacement, as Samsung is offering this for similar issues on S series models, but not for the A73 5G which is very unfair.
