I am using Airtel sim on 1st slot. While using the phone on strong signal area it is fine but on low signal area the phone becomes horrible. 1 -2 bar  signal everytime and very slow internet speed 100 to 200 kbps youtube & other internet applications does not run. But using the same sim on same place with redmi note 7 pro then signal is 2-3 bar & internet speed 20 to 25Mbps. But i want to use samsung branding. So why network issue with samsung A30

yes ...same problem is using Samsung Galaxy A10 and there are network problems and very slow network and network is not strong.....so Samsung is not good company ...

the new A series suffer from signal issues. pls. keep giving feedback to samsung. hopefully they will resolve through update if its not a hardware issue

I'm having the same issue, I live in South Africa, Eastern Cape. I'm on the Telkom Mobile network, and have a Samsung Galaxy A30, and I also only have about 1-2 bars of signal, and only get about 200-300kb/s. What I don't understand is that I've got an older Samsung Galaxy A5, and it performs reasonably well with the low signal, about 5-10mb/s, with the same sim card at the same location. I've literally tried everything from changing DNS, to force locking the network to 4G/LTE, did the same with the phone in Safe Mode, reset network settings, literally everything! 

So that leaves me to assume that it can be one of two things: The phone is carrier locked/preferred, meaning that it may be limited on network speed/capabilities using carriers other than Vodacom, as the firmware is Vodacom branded. Or the second reason being that there actually is a factory fault or software issue with the phone.

 

So I have found and downloaded a 'unbranded' Original Samsung firmware for the device, which I will try flashing to the phone, and see if that solves the problem. If not, then Samsung really needs to pull their finger out of their a**s, and fix this issue through an update as soon as possible.

 

I paid good money for this phone and expected good performance, etc. So I am not very happy at the moment. 

 

I will post if I find a solution, or if there is anymore info about this issue, as I know I am one of many who have the same issue. And if anyone knows anything more, or has any ideas, please reply to this post. Thank You.
